Perform duties too varied and diverse to be classified in any specific office clerical occupation, requiring knowledge of office systems and procedures. Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of individual establishments and may include a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, stenography, office machine operation and filing.

About Delta's Program

As businesses continue to evolve and work with increasingly complex technology, the need for advanced training and professional certification becomes more important every day.

The Office Specialist Advanced Certificate will build on the skills previously acquired. This certificate is a part of a laddered program. Credits earned may be applied toward completion of an Office Profession – Administrative Assistant Associate in Applied Arts degree.
