Student Scholarships

Delta College will accept scholarship applications from March 3 through May 9, 2008. A copy of the application is available on-line. A copy of the application may be picked up in person from the Foundation Office (before 4:30 pm) or the Financial Aid Office.

Scholarship dollars awarded will be for the Fall 2008, Winter 2009, or Spring/Summer 2009 semesters. Your application must be postmarked by Friday, May 9.

Scholarship Application Timeline:
 

• March 3 - May 9 Delta College’s scholarship application period.
• May 9 Deadline for scholarship applications/essays - must be postmarked by this date, or dropped off in person by 4:30 pm
• June 30 Letters will be sent to the scholarship recipients notifying them of the award and the amount they will be receiving.
• July 29 Payment deadline for fall semester charges.
• September 25 Delta College Foundation Scholarship Reception – all students receiving scholarship dollars for the 2008-2009 academic year will be invited to meet the financial donors who made their award possible. The reception will be held in the Delta College Commons from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• September 30 All award recipients will be required to return a thank you letter or note to the Foundation Office by this date. The letters and notes will be shared with the financial donors of each award.

                
As part of the application package, you must submit an unofficial transcript. To get an unofficial transcript from MyDelta follow these directions:
 

1. Go to MyDelta and login with your username and password
2. Go to students’ section
3. Under Academic Profile (right hand side), go to transcript
4. Submit
5. Print all pages so GPA is listed (GPA is at the very bottom)
