Hardware/Software Requirements

Platform:

• PC running Windows XP, Vista or 7
• Macintosh computers running OS X
• Other operating systems - read your wireless card's owner's manual for setup.

Wireless Cards
Wireless cards that meet the IEEE 802.11a/b/g standard will most likely be compatible with the Delta College wireless Internet.

Built-in Wireless Cards
If your laptop has wireless networking capability (built in wireless card), it must meet the 802.11a/b/g standard.

Wireless Card Issues
Although a wireless card may detect the network, problems that might occur are your responsibility and must be solved by you or the cards vendor.
