Assignment

Choose a subject that strongly interests you and about which you would like to learn more. Research this subject in the library and if appropriate, supplement your library research with questionnaires, interviews, or other unpublished sources of information.

Format

• Use at least 5 cited sources - 1 book; 3 periodicals; and no more than 2 Internet sources
• MLA in-text documentation
• a Working Outline
• MLA "Works Cited" list, and MLA "Works Consulted" page (with at least 10 sources) are required.
• Length of paper: 5-6 pages

Audience

Address your paper to students who know less about the topic than the writer or to students whose views may differ from the writer.

Evaluation

The research paper will be graded with a single holistic (numerical) grade and the criteria for all grades will be provided before Conferences.

A Research Notebook with 4 sections

4. Drafts
