IT Professional Exams
98-349: MTA: Windows® Operating System Fundamentals
This exam tests your understanding of operating system configurations, installing and upgrading client systems, managing applications, managing files and folders, managing devices, and understanding operating system maintenance.
98-365: MTA: Windows® Server Administration Fundamentals
This exam tests your understanding of server installation, server roles, active directory, storage, server performance management, and server maintenance.
98-366: MTA: Networking Fundamentals
This exam tests your understanding of network infrastructures, network hardware, and protocols and services.
98-367: MTA: Security Fundamentals
This exam tests your understanding of security layers, operating system security, network security, and security software.
Database Exam
98-364: MTA: Database Administration Fundamentals
This exam tests your understanding of core database concepts, creating database objects, manipulating data, understanding data storage, and administering a database.
Developer Exams
98-361: MTA: Software Development Fundamentals (available in C# and VB)
This exam tests your understanding of core programming, object-oriented programming, general software development, web applications, desktop applications, and databases.
98-362: MTA: Windows® Development Fundamentals
This exam tests your understanding of Windows® programming basics, creating Windows® forms applications, creating Windows® services applications, accessing data in a Windows® forms application, and deploying a Windows® application.
98-363: MTA: Web Development Fundamentals (available in C# and VB)
This exam tests your understanding of programming web applications, working with data and services, troubleshooting and debugging web applications, working with client-side scripting, and configuring and deploying web applications.
98-372: MTA: Microsoft .NET Fundamentals (available in C# and VB)
This exam tests your understanding of .NET framework concepts, understanding namespaces and classes in the .NET framework, understanding .NET code compilation, understanding I/O classes in the .Net framework, and understanding security.
98-373: MTA: Mobile Development Fundamentals (available in C# and VB)
This exam tests your understanding of working with physical devices, using data with mobile devices, using a mobile application development environment, and developing mobile applications.
98-374: MTA: Gaming Development Fundamentals (available in C# and VB)
This exam tests your understanding of game design, hardware, graphics, and animation.
98-375: MTA: HTML5 Application Development Fundamentals
This exam tests your understanding of fundamental HTML5 application development concepts for developing applications that run on today’s touch-enabled devices (PC's, tablets, and phones).
