The Art of Public Speaking & Theater Production
The Art of Public Speaking & Theater Production mixes the skills of public speaking half the day and the other half is dedicated to theater. In public speaking, campers will learn how to speak with confidence and sure. Communication is vital to having a great career and expressing oneself is a key to success. This will help campers form their thoughts, opinions and share them in a clear and concrete way. Using theater and public speaking to tell stories, participants will learn about the traditional forms of theater and the non-traditional theater such as Guerilla and Puppet Theater. Creating stories that are participant inspired, campers will learn about set design, costumes, directing and acting. Most importantly, campers will learn how to tell their stories in an inexpensive and effective way. Campers are required to bring a notebook and flash drive.
