If you are interested in using the very versatile epoxies for home, auto and boat building as well as repairs, this seminar has been taylored for you.
J.R. Watson will share tips and techniques for boat repair through hands-on demonstration and open forum discussion. Subjects will include structural fiberglass repair, cosmetic repair, blister repair, barrier coating, and applications for the new flexible epoxy resin. Also covered will be basic resin technology and good work practices. Expect plenty of examples of how to avoid problems most frequently encountered when working with these materials. He will discuss the most recent developments in composite boat construction. J. R. is a member of GBI Technical Service Staff, and an expert. He has written articles and papers on the topic, is an instructor for the GBI Professional Boat Repair Seminars, and spend much of each day answering questions from around the world on use of epoxy systems.
J.R. Watson is an excellent presenters, using video and many demonstrations. He will keep things moving at a fast pace. If this wasn't a quality seminar, we wouldn't be filling it year after year.
The Fiberglass Repair and Maintenance Manual and the Technical Manual are included as course materials. Please bring note pad and pencil to enable you to jot down a multitude of hints and suggestions.
