Delta College Sailing School

The sailing school has been operating at the mouth of the Saginaw River in Bay City, Michigan for 40 years. In that time we have trained thousands of beginning, intermediate, and cruising sailors including classes in the Virgin Islands and the North Channel of Canada.

During the winter months we offer a wide range of boating seminars and classes including boating entertainment presentations as well as classes such as Celestial Navigation, Diesel Engine Seminar, Fiberglass and Composite Repair, Captains License Preparation, Radar Training, GPS Training, and more.

There are many boaters in Michigan, and out of state, that have taken some or all of our offerings each season. Our customers are our best advertising. So many participants make it a point to shake the presenter's hand, make positive comments, and smile as they leave our programs that we know we are satisfying our customers.
