GED® Test Preparation - Instructor Led
Mathematics Concentration
Master the skills required to successfully pass the Mathematics portion of the GED® test. You will be given practice tests throughout the entire program to check your readiness for the GED® test. After completion of each assessment you will receive a customized individual assignment sheet including all assignments that will need to be completed within the 12 week class period. You’ll start off with a review of math basics and begin building the foundation you’ll need to solve the types of math problems commonly found on the test. In the process, you’ll develop hands-on experience with fractions, decimals, percentages, proportions, statistics, algebra, and geometry. You’ll get a chance to apply your knowledge by practicing with the same kind of questions you may encounter on the GED® test. By the time you finish this course, you’ll be much more comfortable with your math skills and you’ll know how, when, and why to use each math concept you have learned.
This course is a face-to-face, instructor-led program.

Reading, Writing, Science and Social Studies Concentrations
Master the skills required to successfully pass the Writing, Science, Social Studies, and Reading portions of the GED® test. You will be given pre-GED® assessments throughout the program to check your readiness for the GED® test. After completion of each assessment you will receive a customized individual assignment including all assignments that need to be completed within the 12 week class period. You’ll learn the basics of usage and mechanics of the English language and find out how to apply that knowledge in order to edit passages for the multiple choice portion of the test and gain the confidence you need to craft a winning GED® essay! This course will analyze how to read social studies material, the basics of interpreting tables, graphs and political cartoons, as well as guides and links to outlines in History, Political Science, Economics, Geographic, and Behavioral Studies. The Science portion of the course will analyze how to read material, the basics of interpreting tables, as well as guides and links to outlines in Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Sciences, and Physics.
