Photography I & Photography II

Photography I

Taught by professional and free-lance photographer Dan Tomczak this four session basic class will cover: rules of composition; proper use of natural light as well as flash; ISO; exposure compensation; basics of the camera meter; correct ways to use your auto focus. You will have weekly “fun” photo assignments, class critiques and discussions. All assignments will be shot in the program.

Requirements: You must provide your own digital camera and manual.

Photography II

Taught by professional and free-lance photographer Dan Tomczak, this four session intermediate class will take you off of the program mode and into the manual modes to let you expand your creativity. The classes will cover: metering; aperture priority; shutter priority; night photography; black and white photography and many composition techniques. You will have weekly assignments and group critiques. You must have had Dan Tomczak’s Photography I class prior to enrolling in this class series.

Requirements: You must provide your own digital camera and manual.  Your digital camera must be capable of shooting in manual operation modes, if your camera only operates in automatic mode – this course is not for you.
