Toledo Zoo

The Toledo Zoo is one of the world’s most complete zoos as it has over 5,300 animals on 62 acres. This will be the perfect one day outing for you and your grandchildren! You might have the chance to feed a giraffe, take one of the many “behind the scenes tours, view the natural feeding demonstrations or ride on the African Animal Carousel or the Safari Railway. Photo opportunities are plentiful and you are sure to bring back some special memories.

Sauder Village

As they say on their website “There’s no time like the present to have FUN in the PAST!” Take a step back in time at Ohio’s largest living-history village. Walk through the gardens, enjoy some shopping, tour the nearly 40 historic homes and shops, and enjoy a refreshing look at the artistry and craftsmanship that goes beyond mere demonstrations. Visit with costumed guides while you enjoy the old-fashioned hospitality of a 100 year old village.
