We have some wonderful learning and traveling opportunities in the coming months. Please join us and invite your friends too — you don't have to be 50 plus in age to participate. As new events are added they will be listed first right here on our website. You may want to check back weekly to see new opportunities as they become available.

 AARP Drive Safety Program
The aarp driver safety program comes to delta with a wide selection of class sessions available between now and fall:  cars have changed...and so have traffic rules, driving conditions and the roads we drive on every day. let us bring you up to speed. enroll in the aarp driver safety program that is being sponsored by the delta college 50+...just like gold program. eight hours of instruction (no tests) for only $12 for aarp members and $14 for nonmembers. the fee will be collected at the beginning of the class but advance registration is required as there as enrollment is limited so you will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the instructor. Classes will be available from april 7 through nov 13 at all four campuses. Here are the details of what you will learn, as well as the available dates and campus locations. 


 
Second Act: Life at 50+
The premier of the Q-TV program Second Act: Life at 50+ aired on June 3.   This inaugural episode was a great success and featured segments on polio and its current danger, local rail trails, bicycling, and the Wii approach to fitness.  You may view both of these important and informative episodes of Second Act by visiting the links below.
