Aurelian Balan is from Ridgewood, New York and is Instructor of Physics and Astronomy at Delta. He has a master's degree in Physics from Central Michigan University, a bachelor's in Physics from The State University of New York (SUNY), and a bachelor's in Violin Performance from SUNY.

My Teaching Philosophy

I enjoy teaching physics and astronomy. I strive  to present material in a way that not only makes students feel like the concepts are accessible to them, but excites them about the practical use of the knowledge. When course material is presented in a clear, stimulating manner, students are much more open to learning.

Advice For College Students

Enjoy yourself in class. Make the most of it by reading and preparing for classes. Ask questions that take the class and your teacher to a more involved level of thinking. You will have fun doing it!
