What I'm Doing Now
I am Assistant Professor of Nursing at Delta College and part-time Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw.
Why I love Delta
I'm very proud to be teaching at Delta and appreciate the freedom and creativity I'm allowed to make sure my students understand the material. Here, nursing students get real-world experience because their professors have real-world experience. We know what they'll be faced with, what students really need to know.
Best Thing About the Nursing Program
Delta has such a strong clinical foundation, students are really prepared when they graduate.
What I've Learned Being a Nurse
Being a nurse keeps you humble. You see how much there is to be thankful for. Your feet hit the ground and you're upright and mobile. That could change at any moment.
Advice for College Students
At Delta, it's about the possibilities. You can really maximize your potential here. Take advantage of that!
