Delta College offers a free SMS-based notification service for its community. In the event of an emergency, a message will be sent instantly to all registered text-message capable mobile phones and devices, or to your email if you prefer.
Students, faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to register — it only takes a minute. This will be the quickest way for you to receive notifications critical to your safety. There are two methods for subscribing to Delta College Emergency Alerts. Text DELTAEMG to 888777 or click the "Emergency Alerts" link on Delta’s homepage to register online. You can unsubscribe at any time.
About This Service
The Emergency Text (SMS) Notification Service is a free service provided by Nixle and administered by Delta College’s Department of Public Safety (DCDPS).
Nixle and Delta College do not charge a fee to receive emergency notifications; however standard text and data rates may apply. Users are encouraged to review their current mobile plan for any text/data charges that may apply. Delta College is not responsible for any personal finance charges mobile carriers levy on text/SMS/data messages. Please consult your mobile service provider before enrolling in this voluntary service to fully understand any applicable finance charges.
