About the Programs

There's a niche for everyone, so it's up to you to decide which business career fits you best. If your goal is to work for a large corporation, consider business management. If you think you might like to work for yourself, consider entrepreneurship or accounting.

Accounting

Analytical and introverted? Maybe accounting is for you.

People with accounting jobs understand information systems and are skilled at working with computers to gather, report, and interpret information. Skills in human relations and interviewing are essential because accountants need to understand and solve financial problems for other people.

Entrepreneurship

Got a great idea and a lot of nerve? You’re the perfect entrepreneur.

In today’s economy, one of the most exciting opportunities for building personal wealth and career fulfillment is in the area of entrepreneurship. Learn how to recognize market opportunities and plan a small business through completion of this certificate program.

Students Say

Scott Dzurka earned his Associate of Science Degree in Business at Delta. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from Michigan State University, and his Master of Business Administration Degree from the DeVos Graduate School at Northwood University. He is currently President/CEO of the Michigan Association of United Ways.

“I had the opportunity to go elsewhere but I’m glad I selected Delta first. It provides a great learning environment that is so much less intimidating than larger universities and provides much more flexibility,” says Dzurka.
