In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, the Office of Diversity & Inclusion is excited to invite you to a Pow Wow presented by The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan. The presentation includes storytelling, songs and an explanation and exhibition of a variety of dances that encourage audience participation. Dances include: Traditional, Jingle dress, Grass, Fancy (Women’s fancy shawl & Men’s fancy feather), Inter-tribal, Round and Rabbit. Also featured are the Painted Rock drum group. There will be a question and answer session at the conclusion of the presentation.
