Foreign Languages and ASL Discipline

The Foreign Languages, including American Sign Language, French, German and Spanish, emphasizes the acquisition of communication skills in the target language.

Students will achieve the following learning outcomes:

1. Demonstrate receptive and expressive skills as appropriate to the language and the level studied.

2. Appreciate the diversity and richness of other cultures.

3. Develop the ability to make informed and sensitive cultural comparisons.

 Spanish Conversation Table for Winter 2012

• Christine Diaz: Mondays from 2:15 - 3:00 p.m.
• Maria Sablo-Yates: Thursdays from 1:10 - 1:45 p.m.

Conversation tables will start the week of January 23rd. There will be no conversation tables the week of March 5th.
