Art & Design Mission
Delta College's Department of Art & Design is dedicated to providing a high
quality, affordable visual arts education. The mission is to offer Art History, Fine Art, Design and Graphics courses that lead to successfully graduating and
placing Art & Design Program, Associate of Fine Arts degree students. The Art
Department values engaging the tri-cities campuses, surrounding communities and
regional businesses in its legacy of accomplished art and design excellence.
Art & Design Goals
- To maintain a comprehensive array of offerings
- To provide current quality curricula in all areas of Art & Design foundations
- To maintain our leadership position as one of the 19 Community Colleges National League of Innovation charter members
- To be available to assist the community in Art & Design projects
- To maintain associations with relevant Art & Design professional organizations
