Miss Mona Shelter Drive

Miss Mona White was an active, wonderful, Associate Professor of Nursing at DeltaCollege. She was on the Board of Directors of the Bay County Women's Center and was a member of Delta's Human Relations Committee (HRC). The HRC wanted to do something in her memory after she was killed in a boating accident on Memorial Weekend, five years ago.

This year we plan to partner with the with the "Delta Dress for Success Boutique." This Boutique will be used by Delta College Students that need a helping hand in finding clothing for job interviews and employment. The clothing will be to students free of charge. To minimize costs, professional clothing must be ready to wear, freshly laundered, or  dry cleaned and on a hanger. Please help us by donating gently used professional clothing for our students. In addition, we will be collecting items for the local shelters as we did last year. Thank you in advance for your support!

Professional business attire (men's and women's). Drop off location for these items only will be in D134 or, if no one is available, in Career Services (D102) during regular business hours.

Children and women's clothing, and personal care items can be dropped off at the following locations listed below:

A061, S006, S046, F212, M121, P160, J101, J102, N040, G109, and D102.

This year's drive will run from February 8 through April 30.
