The Honors Program
The Delta College Honors Program is designed for students who seek to excel in college.
Honors courses are intellectually challenging and involve considerable interaction among students and instructors. Honors courses do not require more homework but are designed to help students learn and apply diverse concepts while stressing creative and critical thinking. Honors classes place greater emphasis on enrichment and becoming actively involved in the learning process.
The Honors Program is a highly flexible program in which a student can participate as much, or as little, as he/she desires. Each fall and winter semester a variety of Honors classes are offered. Honors credits and awards will appear on the Delta transcript.
