Verification Worksheet
The Federal Government routinely selects some financial aid applications for a more in-depth review process called “Verification.” In this process, Delta College is required to compare the information from a student’s financial aid application with copies of the student’s/parent’s signed Federal tax returns, W-2s and/or other financial documentation. If discrepancies are found to exist between the financial aid application and the financial documents, the Financial Aid Office may need to be make corrections before the student’s request for aid is processed.
If you received notification from Delta College indicating that you have been selected for verification, you may print and complete the appropriate verification worksheet (see link below). Return the signed, completed form, along with any other documentation requested to the Delta College Financial Aid Office.
