Apply for a Guaranteed Student Loan
A student may apply for a Guaranteed Student Loan at a Financial Institution of their choosing. The lender will notify the student when they send funds to Delta College. After the Financial Aid Office has processed these funds and the student has been in class for 30 days, Delta College will notify the student by e-mail that their check will be available in the Student Finance Office. The student must bring in a copy of the e-mail AND a picture ID to receive their check. Please note that the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act does not allow us to provide information concerning individual student loan checks over the phone.
