Chocolate Affair
A Possible Dream Fundraiser: A Chocolate Affair
was held Thursday, November 5, 2009
at Valley Plaza, Midland

About Chocolate Affair
A Chocolate Affair, the #1 Charity Event (according to Tri City magazine), fully funds Delta's Possible Dream Program, which began in 1991. The mission of the program is to help bright, but at-risk 6th -12th graders stay in school, and to believe that college is a “possible dream” for them. The dollars raised are used to fund cultural and educational activities and Fantastics Classes for Possible Dream students. Each year, approximately 100 students are inducted into the program. More than 1,500 students have benefited from the program to date.
More than 600 people from the Great Lakes Bay Region attended this year's event. Visit our photo album from 2009.
This year's Honorary Chairs were:
Kevin and Lynne Neumeyer, Bay County
Mark and Laura Freed, Midland County
Kraig and Lynn Schutter, Saginaw County
