Experience the Delta Difference

Russell Holtman

Fire Science Manager

Public and private fire safety specialists require a strong formal educational background. Most chiefs and mid-level officer positions nationally are requiring a bachelor's degree in Fire Science.

Responding to this national trend, Delta College and Northwood University have established a fire science program. This program will meet the needs of the Fire Science Community well into the new millennium.

Day, evening, weekend, Internet and independent study courses are offered to provide students an opportunity to attend college while working a full time job. Credit-by-training may be granted for prior learning and training.

Delta students will complete the Associates degree, continue taking courses at Delta for junior (third) year, transfer to Northwood University for their senior (fourth) year, and graduate with a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a minor in Fire Science Management.
