Bridge Program
Hello! I am Marcie Carter, Director of the Bridge Program, and welcome to the Bridge Program page of the RDE.
The Bridge Program is in place to assist those students who do not yet have college level skills to achieve them. I am available to students on a walk in basis, through referral from orientation, staff/faculty, and other students. Any student you have in a developmental class that appears to need additional support or services can be referred to me.
The Bridge Program is located in the Counseling, Advising, and Career Services office (D102). I work closely with the advisors and counselors, as well as with Disability Resources. Every student on campus utilizes this office (D102), so there is no stigma to being referred.
I provide services such as advisement and registration assistance, referrals to supports such as T/LC, Disability Resources, etc., follow up services, student tracking, community referrals, and basic transition support for students who struggle with the culture and change of the college atmosphere.
I look forward to working with you and your students. Please feel free to call me or drop by. I am available Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30 pm.
