Services Provided

This office processes all employee's pay including students who work both on and off campus in co-op, work-study and non work-study positions.  Student employees should review frequently asked questions about student employment.  Any questions concerning pay or timesheets should be directed to the employee's superviser first.  If additional clarification is needed, please contact the payroll manager, Linda Petrimoulx, at 989-686-9388.

Payroll checks are issued every other week on Friday.  During the spring and summer semester paychecks will be mailed home when we are closed on Fridays.  During the fall and winter semesters, checks will be available for pickup each payday in the Cashiers Office from 7:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  Any payroll checks not picked up by 3:30 p.m. will be mailed.

Direct deposit is a convenient option to employees who prefer to avoid the hassle of picking up their check and having to deposit it.  Individuals who opt to have their pay direct deposited will have access to an electronic pay advice detailing their gross pay, taxes, deductions and the net pay amount deposited into their bank or credit union account.  They may follow the viewing direct deposit advices online instructions.  Employees who do not have access to a computer to view their electronic paystub online may complete a Direct Deposit Pay Advice Opt-Out Form to receive a paper copy of their direct deposit advice.

W-2's are mailed out by January 31st each year.  To get a replacement copy contact Jeanne Doyle at 989-686-9390.
