The Digital TV Transition |
On February 17, 2009, analog TV transmissions end. If you use a roof-top antenna or "rabbit ears" to watch TV, you will need to do one of the following to keep watching:
- Subscribe to a pay service, such as cable or satellite.
- Purchase a TV with a built-in digital tuner.
- Purchase a digital TV converter box. This is the least expensive option and may cost $10 or less after a $40 coupon from the federal government.
