Scholarships
You could receive a scholarship to attend Delta College. But you must apply. And remember, not all scholarships are based on financial need.
For the academic year 2009-2010, 243 students received scholarships totaling $337,910. In addition, community organizations and associations provided direct scholarships to 420 students, totaling an additional $439,000.
The time to apply is now. The Foundation is currently accepting scholarship applications for students planning to attend during the Fall 2010 and Winter 2011 semesters. The deadline to apply is March 2, 2010. See more scholarship information.
Scholarships are based on a variety of criteria, such as chosen curriculum, grade point average achieved, financial need, or community services activities. To qualify for some scholarships, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which may be found online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. If students do not qualify for other forms of financial aid, such as the Federal Pell Grant, they are still eligible for Delta College scholarships.
If you have any questions about scholarships or the application process, please contact the Foundation Office at 989-686-9224. The Delta College Foundation is pleased to be able to support the educational pursuits of so many Delta College students through the generosity of donors who provide funding.
