Get Started at Delta College

Apply for Admission & Financial Aid
Apply to Delta College. If you intend to apply for Financial Aid, you can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. To expedite your FAFSA use our school code (002251) to have your information sent directly to Delta College.  You should apply as soon as possible.

Complete Assessment
Delta requires new students complete either the COMPASS Assessment or have the appropriate scores on the ACT. These tests identify current skill levels in mathematics, English and reading. Assessment must be completed before an Orientation and Advisement can be started.

Create Your Electronic Student Account & Photo ID
This will give you access to your email, class registration, online orientation and other electronic features. We then recommend setting your home page to the Delta College Portal for easy access to all things Delta College. Stop by the Public Safety Office (N102) to get your photo ID.

Participate in Orientation & Advisement
Delta College has a two step orientation process. First is Online Orientation, which you can do at your own pace. Once complete, you will need to sign up for Pioneer Prep, the Delta College in-person orientation. This on-campus session will give you tips and information designed to help you be successful. Sessions are offered on numerous days and times at Delta's main campus (and sometimes off-campus).

Register for Classes
The earlier you complete the previous steps, the earlier you may register. If you are ready to register early, you may register by using MyDelta. Be sure to look at the priority registration dates to see when you are eligible to register.

Pay Tuition
You may make your payment online, in person or by phone. Make sure to check out the payment plan - you don't have to pay it all at once. Remember, you reserved seat in class will be dropped if you don't make payment by the deadline.

Congratulations, you're officially a Delta College student. As a student there are a variety of events and opportunities (clubs and organization), as well as services available to you. Make sure you take advantage of all Delta College has to offer.  Here are some important dates including the first day of the semester.
