Semi-Auto Pistol Instructor Course
This MCOLES approved Firearms instructor course will impart upon the participants sufficent knowledge and background in the proper techniques of handling and utilizing the semi-automatic pistol to be able to perform as a range Instructor to provide competent training to other officers.
Required Equipment: Full duty belt with holster; duty pistol and minimum of three ammunition magazines; 1000 rounds of ammunition; soft body armor; eye and ear protection; baseball style cap; long pants; long sleeve shirt; sturdy footwear and any other clothing needed for the current weather; flashlight; sunscreen; bug spray; laptop computer; note taking materials; and personal first aid supplies.

Grant Writing for Public Safety and First Responder Agencies
This course covers the skills and strategies essential to any grant writing process but with heavy emphasis on First Responder grant programs specifically. It will give you the basics you need to successfully compete for funding streams available from corporate, nonprofit or governmental entities. This eight hour course starts with approx an hour and a half in the classroom on the topics of vehicle dynamics, legal aspects of emergency driving and description of the driving course. The remainder of the time will be spent on the driving range performing 'behind the wheel' exercises.

S.T.O.P.S. (Strategies and Tactics of Patrol Stops) Instructor
The STOPS program is nationally recognized as the foremost tactical/officer survival training available today. Vehicle stops will be broken into low risk, unknown risk and high risk. Each category has pre-planned methods to minimize the changes of being assaulted by accidental and felonious means. Upon successful completion of this training, students will be certified STOPS Instructors.

R.A.D. Systems (Rape Aggression Defense) Basic Instructor Training
Participants may be certified to teach the R.A.D. System of Basic Physical Defense. This intense, 3 day, 30 hour Instructor Program is a cost effective way to obtain your own Self-Defense Instructor(s), and offer this consistently structured, time tested, proactive program to the women in your community. This is a most comprehensive program and the only one of its kind, and now your agency can utilize its basic, tailored format as an addition to your present crime prevention offering. This course is taught in a relaxed environment, that is conducive to learning tested instructional techniques, proven tactics and unique insights about the problem of violence against women. Our program also includes physical defense workouts for technique development, and an evening exercise that is designed to simulate confrontational circumstances.
